When booking with me, you will quickly find out that I am a huge advocate and lover of engagement sessions! After you make the decision to do an engagement session, you are faced with having to decide on a location that fits you. So whether you’re into classic architecture, beachy vibes, or greenery, Miami has you covered! Read on to learn about some of my favorite spots…

Vizcaya Museum and Gardens
Vizcaya is definitely one of the most popular choices when it comes to my couples. In the heart of Coconut Grove, Vizcaya provides 10 acres filled with beautiful gardens, timeless architecture, and near flawless light at all times of the day. The photo permit is $250 on weekdays (excluding Tuesday) and $350 on weekends. More info here: Vizcaya Museum and Gardens

Matheson Hammocks Park
Matheson Hammocks Park, located in Coral Gables, is a huge hit for couples because of the variety of settings it provides in one location. The first half of the park is filled with gorgeous greenery and Spanish moss all throughout. A quick drive into the second half provides for an amazing view of the Miami skyline across Biscayne Bay and beachy tropical vibes without the parking woes of South Beach. More info here: Matheson Hammocks Park

South Pointe Park & Miami Beach
South Pointe Park and Miami Beach is a no brainer for hardcore beach lovers or destination couples who want the signature Miami look! Outside of the picture-perfect Ocean Drive, white sandy beach, there are so many things always happening, and you never know what surprises you’ll encounter (See “freedom buns” below!). Pro-tip: Opt for sunrise vs. sunset to avoid busy crowds and parking hassles. More info here: South Pointe Park

The Kampong
The Kampong is actually a recent favorite of mine, as I shot my first engagement session there recently. I had been wanting to do an engagement there after doing a wedding there a few years back and it did not disappoint! The gardens will give you jungle vibes with lush, tropical landscapes with hints of both Spanish and Southeast Asian architecture sprinkled throughout as well. Photo permit is $250 for 2 hours. More info here: The Kampong

Robert Is Here & The Redlands
Wanting to step away from the more “traditional” Miami looks, The Redlands provides a completely different side of Miami. The Redlands is a historic area and the agricultural hub of Miami. Robert is Here is a family-owned and historic fruit stand and is best known for their local fruits & veggies, out-of-this-world milkshakes, and their animal farm! More info here: Robert Is Here

BONUS: Your home!
If you don’t want to worry about finding the “perfect venue,” deal with crowds, or want a more personal touch your home is always an amazing option!
